Cleaning Carpet Where There is Food Residue

 Q:  I am cleaning restaurant carpet that has never been cleaned in 3 years. I have a truck mount extraction system. What chemical do you recommend?

A:  Due to the greasy protein stains and food residues in this environment, we recommend a prespray called Relief Enzyme Prespray from DSC Products.  This product is particularly effective in restaurants.  It MUST be used according to directions to be effective.  This includes mixing the chemical with hot water and allowing for a 20-30 minute dwell time. This time will commit the enzyme to attack the residues.  Extracting too soon will have a negative affect on results.  Click here to learn more about this product.  Click here for other Carpet Care chemicals from Nichols.
