A Brighter Future for Commercial Facilities: Nichols Green Facilities Conference

Managing a high performing healthy commercial facility has a positive impact on the environment and allows organizations to sustain a bright future in building operations. In its sixth year, the Nichols Green Facilities Conference will offer a full day of education on features, benefits and cost management of green buildings, as well as display products for green cleaning and facilities maintenance. Participants can expect a variety of workshop topics including case studies of LEED buildings (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and practical strategies for maintaining a high performance healthy facility.

Mayor John B. (Jack) O’Reilly, Jr. of the City of Dearborn, Michigan will share the vision for the City of Dearborn as well as offer the ways that they are currently handling the budgeting issues that most municipalities are facing today.

Keynote presenter Alan Bigger, retired facilities director from Earlham College and Notre Dame University and author of the book “Frugalisms: Creative Ideas on Leadership in Facilities and Housekeeping Operations” will bring a front line message to conference participants.
