Q: What is the cost for shipping/delivery?
A: Orders less than $150.00, or outside of Nichols delivery area, are subject to delivery charge and handling charges. Nichols ships via FedEx or other carrier, unless otherwise specified. A fuel surcharge of $10.00 will be applied to each order. Hazardous chemicals charges may apply.
Q: Is there a minimum order?
A: Yes, Nichols minimum order is $150.00. Any order not meeting this minimum will be billed a $10.00 "small order processing charge," in addition to fuel surcharge and freight.
Q: What is the latest time that I can place an order and still get it delivered the next day?
A: If you place an order by 4:00pm Monday-Friday and you are in the Nichols delivery area you could receive the order as soon as the next business day. Contact customer service for urgent situations.
Q: What day of the week do you deliver to my area?
A: Please contact a Nichols associate at 888-642-8178 to find out the delivery day(s) specific to your location.
Q: What forms of payment can be used?
A: Nichols prefers that all purchases be made on an established Nichols account however Visa, MasterCard and American Express are also accepted for payment.

A: We distribute supplies and equipment to maintain high performance healthy facilities and supplies and equipment to ensure safe shipment of product. Nichols can supply products in a wide variety of categories including, but not limited to, paper and sanitary maintenance, safety, packaging and shipping as well as janitorial and packaging equipment. We specialize in the industries of education, healthcare, manufacturing and lodging but can service many other types of businesses. Q: Where is Nichols located?
A: Our corporate headquarters are located in Norton Shores, MI. However, we also have locations in Grand Rapids, Greater Detroit, Holland, Traverse City, MI; Indianapolis, IN; Bowling Green and Cleveland, OH.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: All locations are open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Q: How do I find products on the website?

Q: What is a backorder item?
A: Nichols “backorder” items are products not in stock at the time an order is placed. Shipment will occur at a later date, unless otherwise specified by customer.
Q: How is pricing determined and updated?
A: All prices are subject to change without notice. Inquire at time of order for current pricing, or contact your Nichols Representative for written proposals.
Q: Can I make returns?
A:Merchandise may be returned to Nichols by contacting us and requesting a Return Authorization Number. With confirmation of the Return Authorization Number, our drivers or a Nichols representative may pick up the product. Returned merchandise must be returned within 30 days of the purchase date, in saleable condition and in original cartons and full cases. A restocking charge may apply. Special orders are not returnable.
Q: What are the Terms and Conditions for payment?
A:Our terms are Net 25 days for customers with approved credit. Unless an open account has been established, or the order has been pre-paid, all orders will be shipped C.O.D. cash or credit card. There will be a $25.00 service charge for all returned checks and a 1.5% charge on past due invoices. All orders shall be subject to Nichols standard terms and conditions as set forth on our website and as incorporated into our order acceptance.
