COVID-19 Supply Chain Update - 3/6/2020
With increasing concerns regarding the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), Nichols is seeing large increases in demand for products that pertain to infectious disease prevention. These include items like Personal Protective Equipment, disinfectants, hand sanitizers, and related wipes. Manufacturer supply chain allocations are being put in place by almost all manufacturers of these items. Our supply management team is working hard and diligently monitoring the items impacted. We are partnering with our strategic suppliers to keep up-to-date on product availability and actively sourcing alternative items. Please note that orders for unusually large amounts cannot be prioritized due to the global demand and manufacturer allocations and during this time it is possible that some orders could be disrupted.
